GREENFEEN OrganiX

While most organizations have been allocated funding by City Council, we collectively recognize that GREENFEEN OrganiX is essential to our Community Composting in NYC and needs support.

GreenFeen OrganiX is a worker-owned cooperative designed to collect and process organic waste into compost and renewable energy locally in The Bronx, NY. An environmental justice social enterprise focusing on organic waste management, youth workforce development, and community empowerment through culturally responsive strategies. By integrating the arts, Hip Hop, and storytelling, GreenFeen OrganiX promotes sustainability practices and challenges the traditional concept of waste, advocating for a circular economy that benefits people and the planet.
